Requirements for Berner Generationenhaus
Together with our partner Kilchenmann, easescreen was responsible for the renewal and optimization of the existing digital signage system. In addition, the various multifunctional meeting rooms, used for sessions and events, were to be equipped with intuitive media technology.
Technical Implementation
The new digital signage system is based on an HTML5 solution with a system-on-chip (SoC) setup. A total of nine displays, ranging from 43 to 55 inches, including two outdoor displays, were installed. The wayfinding system displays show directional arrows and event booking details. A three-part display combination in the reception area provides event information, while eight digital eSign door signs display room bookings from the client’s event software.

Thanks to our innovative HTML5-based technology, information can be updated quickly and efficiently, ensuring the center always provides visitors with the latest details on events, bookings, and directions. The integration of digital room booking systems helps guests easily navigate the facility, ensuring they can reach their events without any issues. Additionally, our solution seamlessly connects to the existing event software, allowing room occupancy data to be displayed in real-time, greatly improving communication and planning within the facility.
