An impressive new Orient wholesale location

The installations by our partner Pichler Medientechnik eU are always an eye-catcher. In this case, a 43m² LED ticker, 21m² LED wall, and a 350° LED column brighten up the wholesaler’s newest location. The ticker has over 16,000 pixels in width, yet with the easescreen editor it is possible to create content for such high resolutions with drag & drop. Enes Bakan, who is responsible for the project, says: “We are thrilled with the new installation and see a lot of positive responses from customers. Digital Signage with easescreen is fuss-free, and I recommend it to everyone.”

Behind the LED installation are 3 controllers from Novastar as well as 3 D612 players from Giada, the LED hardware comes from the Turkish supplier LEDECA.

How it came to be one of the most famous tea brands

Importing tea was a major challenge due to the Chernobyl accident in 1986. Due to suspected radioactive contamination, trade between Turkey and Europe was banned. Ayhan Bakan had tea imported from Sri Lanka and Ceylon under the specially founded brand name “Karedeniz”. Today, Orient is the largest tea importer and market leader in the ethnic market.

One of the largest Turkish food wholesalers in Europe opens its doors in Vienna

The company Orient Marketingservice was founded back in the mid-1980s by Ayhan Bakan and has been family-owned since 1988.

The Bakan family presents its new location in Vienna Liesing and celebrates its opening with family, friends, and business partners. The Austrian mayor Michael Ludwig was also invited to the celebration to congratulate the family and to get an impression of the business premises.

The company began its success story in a 30m² shop.  Today, the meter-high shelves and the extensive assortment are spread over a proud 3,800m² and cover numerous food and household items with their wide range of products.

Here, primarily restaurants and entrepreneurs but also individuals are supplied with fresh fruit and vegetables, halal products, olives, tea, and much more.
